About Us

The Saskatoon Potters Guild is a non-profit organization founded by a group of people interested in pottery. Our skills range from the beginning to the expert level.

Our goal is to learn from each other's potting experience and teach each other new and different techniques of potting, glazing and firing our wares.

We began as a small group of friends in 1962. We meet on a monthly basis.

Our studio space is located in the basement of Albert Community Centre, at the intersection of Clarence Avenue and 12th Street. We have three rooms: a classroom equipped with ten electric wheels, a member's room equipped with electric wheels, a slab roller, an extruder, and a pug-mill, and a glaze and kiln room equipped with six electric kilns, a spray booth, and all chemicals and equipment for mixing glazes.

Our activities can be grouped under Memberships, Classes, Workshops, Shows and Sales, Newsletter, Fundraising, and Exhibitions.
